@jen_tcg There are several that have something similar to pokemon. mostly smaller franchises or some niche games though. Nothing is like yugioh, but its also difficult to make something yugioh esque be balanced and not just be yugioh too? Ressources are just easy to do

one thing I’ve noticed is that almost every new TCG tries to replicate Magic’s mana system. Riftbound, SWU, OPTCG, even Hearthstone and LoR all are basing their gameplay around a mana-like resource economy. why don’t TCGs copy Yugioh or Pokemon’s “action economy” systems instead?

@cassdrouple I mean, thats just your self discipline then isn't it? More fun not to tell them and have them do their best and try your best to just simply make them do worse. Also fun are semi coop games

My gf is like "Stop working these subs so hard I wanted to play boardgames with them and now everyone is crying again."
