A monogamous commitment means your partner doesn’t sleep with other people. It doesn’t mean they don’t want to. They do, and so do you. And if you go looking for evidence your partner wants to sleep with other people, you will find it.

This. It's hard enough for couples to be monogamous if "monogamy" is defined in terms of sex (and perhaps some very sex-adjacent things). But if you try to regulate every aspect of your partner's conduct that might imply some interest in another person, prepare to be alone.
