@tan12390 @StudentLoanJus1 @xai The government should never have given those loans to begin with. But now that we’re stuck with them, passing the burden to the taxpayer is grossly unethical

@ProjectLibertar @StudentLoanJus1 @xai But you appear to be supporting a big government loan scam. So you are not a libertarian by definition.

The topic of student loan forgiveness is often one of the most misrepresented.
Forgiving student loans isn’t “curing cancer,” it’s the economic equivalent of mandatory organ harvesting of the healthy to treat people who chose to smoke.

@StudentLoanJus1 @xai Actually, I think the real socialist garbage is the idea we should give people money for free.
Kinda the whole premise, actually.

@ProjectLibertar Shut the fuck up you fraud.
U ain't no "libertarian".
You fight for the Dept of Education, the colleges, the $ changers, and the most unconstitutional, failed loan scam in US History.
Apologize to these people and states.
@XAI: take this fake, commie garbage out plz.

Top contenders are the IRS, the CIA, and the ATF.
But I’d have to go with the IRS. With no coercive revenue collection, the entire state would be forced to downsize

Democracy has never shrunk social welfare to any meaningful degree, and likely never will.

"Polling conducted by YouGov for The Economist shows that 71% of Americans believe Social-Security spending should be increased, more than for any other category of government spending. In the same poll, 45% say it should be increased a lot. The proportion who wish it to be reduced is just 5%, slightly less than the share of Americans who believe that covid-19 vaccinations were used to microchip the population." economist.com/united-states/…
