30 minutes → 30 seconds. That's the whole pitch. Upload your CV once. Click any job listing. ApplyAI reads both and writes the letter. Try it free 👇 chromewebstore.google.com/detail/applyai…

Unpopular opinion: most cover letters hurt your application more than they help. Generic enthusiasm + buzzwords = background noise. Say something real or say nothing.

Google banned my account yesterday. Everything was connected to it. CWS developer account. Hosting. DNS. The lot. Spent an hour thinking the whole thing was gone. Got it back. Lesson: never put all your eggs in one email account. Building in public means the bad days too.

Unpopular opinion: most cover letters aren't bad because people can't write. They're bad because people write for themselves, not the hiring manager. Talk about what you can do for them. Lead with impact. Cut the life story. ApplyAI makes this easy → getapplyai.com

Recruiters don't read cover letters to learn about you. They read them to find a reason to reject you. Write yours to make that impossible. Be specific, be relevant, be brief. Every sentence should earn its place.

Monday job search tip: Before you apply, spend 3 minutes on the company's LinkedIn. Note: recent news, team size, who you'd report to. Drop one specific detail into your cover letter. Most candidates don't do this. It's immediately obvious when someone did.

Unpopular opinion: applying for 100 jobs a week is not hustle. It's avoidance. You feel busy. You're not making progress. 10 properly tailored applications beat 100 copy-paste ones. Every time.

Saturday job hunt tip: your cover letter opening line does more work than any other sentence. Most people start with 'I am writing to apply for...' Try starting with the most relevant thing you've done. Lead with proof, not intent.

Hot take: AI won't take your job. But someone using AI to apply smarter, write better, and move faster? They might take the job you wanted. The tools are available to everyone. Most people just haven't figured that out yet. Don't be the last one to notice.

The cover letter grind is genuinely demoralising. 45 minutes tailoring it to the job. Hit send. Auto-rejection lands 3 hours later. Meanwhile someone else copy-pasted theirs in 2 minutes and got the interview. The game has changed. Might as well play it.

Day 11 of building ApplyAI. Chrome extension reviews force a complete feature freeze. No hotfixes. No "just one more." Whatever shipped is what ships. Weirdly clarifying. You realise how much you'd add is just noise. getapplyai.com

Hot take: the best AI cover letter is the one that still sounds like you wrote it. Not I
