Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is a day we recognize and celebrate the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Indigenous peoples of Canada. #NIPD2023

June is Seniors Month. Seniors are nearly twice as likely to need the assistance of a food bank on a long-term basis compared to adults under 65. Food bank data shows an increase of 21% in the proportion of visitors citing "Old Age Pension" as their primary source of income.
