@SarahMackAttack I think you're mixing it up with Feather Duster Worms :) another beautiful creature with lots of feathery tentacle appendages!

This is a Crinoid aka Feather Star (which? Ok, I have been calling feather DUSTER stars this whole time but apparently that’s not what they’re called, omg) Some crinoids are stuck to the bottom by stalks, others like this one swim freely. There are over 500 species of crinoid!

偶然、水槽内で泳いでいた三崎のシモフリウミシダ Iconometra japonica (Hartlaub, 1890) です。左右交互の腕を振り動かして短時間だけ遊泳することができます。

My autistic brain loves to plan out entire conversations before socialising. It can be tiring, but it comforts me. I like to prepare for every eventuality, so I map out every conversational path in mind, like I’m creating and repeatedly playing a “choose your own adventure” game.

ChatGPT made my dinner last night since I was 1) unmotivated and 2) had barely any food in the house. It actually came in clutch when told to make me a recipe with just the things I listed.

Them: "You're a marine biologist?" Me: "Correct"! Them: "I always wanted to be a marine biologist! But then I learned they don't make any money." Me: ".....also correct" 😑 Marine biologists everywhere, how often is this how people greet you? 😂 I'd say a solid 30% at least
