Do I get the Flitwick > Leics train on weds (1hr 15)? Same time as car, beer at Pint of Science, better environmentally. Win win. £68 with split ticket + railcard! With no railcard next year the same journey is £103 (at current prices). How can anyone afford this? Car it is.

I used to be able to do the same journey on an open return for <£30 only a year ago.
