Queen City Crush

The 2022 summer concluded with a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. We partnered with DR FCA staff by playing games and hosting youth clinics in Higuey, DR and surrounding communities. Get a glimpse in to how God worked in and through our team during the week.

Jay Spoonhour will make $110,000 as Missouri State's new assistant basketball coach — which is on par with Sheldon Everett and Buzzy Caruthers. Dana Ford will be paid $478,698 this season following another round of university-wide raises.

Finito! Our trip has concluded with one final game in Higuey. Then we enjoyed the afternoon at the beach. @KingdomCatcher9 shared about his identity in Christ! Baseball is a great game but it makes a terrible god. Jesus is the only one that came provide fulfillment!

That’s a wrap on Day 3! We had a great day playing at the Zorilla Baseball Academy and loved leading a youth clinic in La Otra Banda. A busy day included Ryan Shoulders and Kenton Hudson sharing their story about how Jesus has transformed their lives.

What. A. Day. Day one started with our first game in Ana Muya. Crush took the win and Josh Buxton shared his story! This afternoon we traveled to El Cerro to host a youth clinic with our DR FCA Staff! Alec Boldt shared with the kids and we all had a BLAST!

The Crush have made it to the DR. After a long day of traveling, we began our trip with orientation with our FCA staff and an evening devotional. Today we will begin ministry with a game and youth clinic. Here we go!

A deep fly to center ends the threat and we head to the 4th. 6-2 Cobras

Mulholland walks and the bases are jammed!

A double play is followed by a single and it's 1st & 2nd with 2 down.

Boldt draws a walk and the Crush have 2 on with no outs in the 3rd.

Lumley does it again and singles to start the 3rd!

The Cobras put 4 runs on the board and now lead 6-2.
