From school supplies and clothing to food and extra resources, we help remove the obstacles so students can focus on what matters most: learning. Because when a child feels supported, everything changes. Attendance improves, confidence grows, and success becomes possible.

Literacy goes beyond the basics. It helps students: • Stay informed • Communicate clearly • Understand the world around them When a child can read, they don’t just get through school. They gain the confidence to be part of their community and shape their future.

Through tutoring, books, and hands-on support, we help students build confidence and the skills they need to keep moving forward. And it doesn’t stop there. Our STRIVE program supports older youth as they prepare for jobs, education, and what comes next.

The Rotary Club of Augusta has awarded $25,000 to support literacy through RISE Augusta and we couldn’t be more grateful. This investment helps us continue providing tutoring and essential resources to students across Richmond County, giving more children the support they need.

For years, we’ve been walking alongside students in Richmond County, helping them with reading, providing basic needs, and giving them the confidence to keep going when things feel hard. When a child gets the support they need, everything can change.

RISE Augusta’s STRIVE program helps teens and young adults build the skills they need for meaningful, well‑paid careers. Serving youth ages 16–21, STRIVE operates through Richmond County’s alternative learning centers and the HUB for Community Innovation.
