We were looking at the rocks at the Shelton rock snake and found a little yellow someone hiding! @sheltoninfants

Lucy has been talking about capacity and estimation this morning. She estimated how much water each container could hold then meaaured to check. We talked about which could hold the most and which could hold the least. Then we had a water fight :) @sheltoninfants

Lucy has been reading to her little brother. Joseph really enjoyed it! @sheltoninfants

Lucy collected lots of natural items on our walk and then used them to do some leaf rubbings. We have also been counting how many different kinds we found. @sheltoninfants

We have hired some toys from Derbyshire Toy Library and Lucy has used the polydron to make models and talk about 2d and 3d shapes. @sheltoninfants

Lucy and I have been making up our own bedtime stroies at night time. Today, we decided to write a short story, taking it in turns to write and think of ideas. @sheltoninfants

Lucy has been missing her friends so she decided to make and deliver them some cards. @sheltoninfants

Lucy has enjoyed creative activities including dressing up, making cakes, painting and even making her own crown to play princesses. @sheltoninfants

Lucy did some counting. We spoke about 5 being half of 10 and what that means. She then wanted to find half of lots of other numbers! @sheltoninfants

Lucy has been practising getting 'd' and 'b' the right way round as well as spelling her tricky words :) @sheltoninfants

Lucy has made a wish jar for the things she wants to do at the end of lockdown :) #positive #fun @sheltoninfants
