I am officially retiring.
Today is my last day as a Toronto Police officer.
I will miss everyone, but I'm looking forward to new challenges!

Emergency responders rarely get there in time for a cold water emergency. Prevention is the only way to stop the deaths on this one.

A big shout out to the responding officers to locate and rescue this female before she fell into the river. A reminder to be careful when on or rivers and ponds. This is the second incident where someone could have been seriously hurt by falling through the ice in Port Credit.

UPDATE: - Officers from @PRP11Div were successful in locating the female and rescuing her. - Female was on the shore line pictured, near the start of the Credit River/Lake Ontario and at risk of falling in - Is being treated for minor injuries by @Peel_Paramedics
