@mraspinall Positive parent contact is critical to the culture in a classroom. When parents hear only the negative, it is difficult for them to view their students educational experiences as a positive ones. Educational experiences should be positive and exciting for everyone.

When I started calling parents to tell them what their kids did well, rather than always what they did wrong, my entire classroom dynamic changed for the better - and parents were happy to hear from me. #CodeBreaker

@NicholasFerroni Middle school students are not all that different. They don’t normally yell your name, but they often say hello and even hug you. This goes for current and former students. It’s all about those relationships. I love my students. Teacher-student relationships are priceless.

Watching elementary school students see their teachers in public is one of most genuine, heartwarming and funny things you will ever witness. It always consists of the student excitedly screaming their name, running up to them and hugging them. It is pure joy.

He indeed showed us all the love of Jesus. My Riley my was one of his students and he was always an inspiration to her. We will all miss him. I am at a loss for words right now.
