@TraceyLeeHolmes So it was a Sydney tournament, with two token other cities which ignored Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. We could not take our kids, think it was quite shite really

Just to clear this up…Caitlin Foord wasn’t at the Matildas fan event due to early flights back for club duties, as confirmed by the team.
But also…
taking responsibility after a final loss is heavy.
Foord has given so much to this team, one loss doesn’t change that.

We can confirm that Clare Hunt will undergo surgery on her right knee. The defender suffered the injury while on international duty for Australia in the Women’s Asian Cup last week. Following the procedure, she will begin her rehabilitation. Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur wishes Clare a full and speedy recovery.

I can separate my issues with the logistics of the Tumbalong Park event for the Matildas and still be grateful for those players who attended the event to receive thanks from the fans. Of course the players were disappointed with the result and I don’t blame them
