I used to feel shy about this mark on my leg...I used to wonder why it was even there. Until I came across a Hadith that changed my perspective forever. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: " The fire will consume all of the son of Adam except the mark of prostration." Now, I no longer see it as something to hide… I see it as an honour. A sign of sujood. A trace of moments I placed my forehead before Allah. What I once felt shy about, I now cherish with gratitude. May Allah make our sujood a witness for us, not against us. Alhamdulliah we have hit a PLEDGE OF 100 million for the pilot program. We would like to stop here for now, so we can run a pilot and see how it goes before we further expand it. Remember the goal is for this to be sustained beyond a one time thing. Businesses and jobs should be born out of this initiative. Yes this won’t end poverty amongst the youths but it will give birth to an idea eveyone can copy and replicate.
