Trump will always have a humongous swath of the American population on his side b/c he appeals to the dumb, the ignorant, the hateful & the afraid. He makes them laugh. He makes them think they’re smart. He makes them feel pride instead of shame, and he makes them feel validated.

To the overwhelming majority of MAGA, reality, facts, evidence & truth, are completely subjective and dismissible. Their worlds are molded entirely by what they believe (religion, conspiracies, disinformation, etc), not what they know. No logic. No reason. Not a critical thought.

It’s not a coincidence that the ‘freedom, truth, God is love’ people are the same folks who support Trump. After all, it takes an extraordinarily gullible religious whacko who believes all kinds of blatant absurdities and asinine conspiracy theories to buy a fucking word he says.

It’s true that not everything Trump does is worthy of a total meltdown, but I can’t think of a single thing I agree w/ him on, or like about him in the slightest, so it’s impossible to not be constantly critical. He’s 100% worthy of my condemnation as a democracy loving American.

When Trump flew off in that helicopter on Jan. 20th, 2021, that should’ve been the last we ever had to endure from him in a political capacity. The fact he’s back in the WH, wreaking exponentially more havoc, is an unconscionable reality I’ll never be able to wrap my head around.

We are aware of the recent social media post by former FBI Director James Comey, directed at President Trump. We are in communication with the Secret Service and Director Curran. Primary jurisdiction is with SS on these matters and we, the FBI, will provide all necessary support.
