I'm sure this is enraging CATO right now but this is effectively better than if they ever do file.
In the off chance they're actually working "on-the-books" jobs, they still get their payroll and income taxes withheld. Payroll taxes are 15.3%.
EITC and CTC fraud is a huge problem for taxpayers. If "undocumented immigrants" refuse to file taxes, they won't get any refunds and they can't claim EITC or CTC credits either.
Financially, all positive for American citizen taxpayers.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson didn't invoke Weimar Germany as a rhetorical flourish. She cited a specific scholar by name in a footnote: Ernst Fraenkel, a Jewish labor lawyer who observed the Nazi legal system from the inside, smuggled his manuscript out of Berlin in 1938, and published "The Dual State" at the University of Chicago in 1941. Fraenkel's framework is precise. The Nazis didn't immediately collapse Germany's legal system. They left courts functioning - particularly in contracts and economic matters - while placing Jews and political enemies in a separate lawless zone where no legal protection applied. Most Germans lived in the law-bound "normative state." The targeted lived in the "prerogative state." The facade of normalcy was the mechanism of control. Jackson invoked Fraenkel to name what the court's Republican majority is doing in real time. In 21 consecutive shadow docket cases, the six conservative justices have let Trump opt out of the law - often with no explanation given at all. They blessed ICE racial profiling without citing a single legal justification. They allowed Trump to ignore $4 billion in congressionally appropriated foreign aid. They stripped lower courts of the ability to issue universal relief, meaning only those with resources to file individual lawsuits get protection from illegal presidential action. Constitutional law professor Evan Bernick put it plainly: "The court is adjusting the law to make place for arbitrary power." Jackson's dissent is not hyperbole. A footnote citing a 1941 manuscript about Nazi legal architecture is a Supreme Court justice blowing the cover on what her colleagues are building.

As I remarked elsewhere, while most politicians deal with Christianity by ignoring it or uttering pieties they neither mean nor understand the exchange between Pope Leo and Donald Trump forces the thoughtful reader to understand the Just War theory, which underpins the mainstream Christian approach to conflict.
Inevitably it requires us to consider not only what Christians believe but what the Islamic equivalent to Just War -- the doctrine of Jihad -- actually teaches. In many ways the two are as different as chalk and cheese. In the first place Christianity is a nonstate religion while Islam aims to be a “universal religion and a universal state”. From this arises a host of differences.
In Just War, the core intention of hostilities is the “righting of wrongs.” Bellum has an earthly origin. Heads of states do not to go to war with the intention of pleasing God but to do particular things. This is not the case with the Jihad, which clearly states that the core intention to wage war must be to please Allah. Just War is a human creation while Jihad is a divine one.
Perhaps not even one in a hundred has ever given these foundations any thought. Ever since September 11 there has probably been no topic as important to understand yet so desperately ignored as this one. Part of the reason modern Western culture is so wishy washy is that is studiously ignorant of the nature of the peace it purports to love, relying instead on popular culture like the lyrics of a John Lennon song.
Surely if the Western world sincerely wishes to transform itself into a multicultural world it must at least do Islam the courtesy of understanding the doctrines of Jihad whose power has upheld the thoughts of Muslims for centuries.
These are questions that perhaps no major modern politician, with the exception of JD Vance, is prepared to seriously address, either pro or contra. Yet no subject is perhaps as important. If Western Civilization is founded on Christianity it ought to understand what it aspires for and what its rival the Islamic world believes. I have attached an article which, although it contains arguable points, can serve as a starting point for further reading.

It took me a few hours yesterday, but I got access to the case files for Olaolukitan Adon Abel previous se*ual battery case from Savannah GA that caused him to be BANISHED from the ENTIRE CITY.
I'll drop the files below, but here's the story:
>Abel assaulted 4 different women in the span of a few hours
>4 victims, 4 counts of se*ual battery, in Chatham County, April 2025.
>When police tried to arrest him, he resisted.
>They added an obstruction charge on top of everything else
>That obstruction charge vanished before trial
>Prosecutors dropped it entirely. No explanation given.
>His attorney, B. Foster, got all 4 se*ual battery counts handled under Georgia's First Offender Act
>Meaning if he completed probation, the whole thing would essentially disappear from his record.
>The judge sentenced him to 48 months, then suspended most of it.
>He actually served 120 days in prison TOTAL
>Thirty days per victim
>He paid $0 in fines
>Zero in restitution to any of the 4 women
>The court did order a psychose*ual evaluation and required he follow whatever treatment came from it
>They mandated mental health counseling
>They banned him from the entire city of Savannah for four years
>They explicitly prohibited him from possessing any firearm
>He signed the probation agreement on June 7, 2025
>7 months later, he got a gun and m*rdered 2 women, including Lauren Bullis

The suspect, “Olaolukitan Adon Abel” was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her before neighbors came to the scene. Olaolukitan is charged with 3 other "completely random" shootings and the de*th of another woman. We do not have to live like this.
