It seems that vast majority of people, let's call them normies, hate technology and progress. Seeing all that, I think it is quite likely, that in the future humanity will split. Pro progress, betterment-oriented individuals will align themselves with advancements in technology and AI, driving forward innovation and societal transformation. Meanwhile, those resistant to change, wary of technological integration, and fearful of AI's potential impact will form a counter movement, seeking to preserve traditional ways of life. For people crying that AI is taking their jobs or stealing their work. You don't see the big picture. Your view is shortshighted. Let me tell you why. We need that data (basically all data that exist) to advance the AI field. The ultimate goal is not merely to develop AI capable of creating perfect pictures or videos, but to achieve Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and eventually Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). They will revolutionize our society and liberate us from the necessity of working just to meet basic needs such as food and paying bills. Thinking "they're stealing our work(data), don't pay us" comes from scarcity mindset. You're constantly worried about money, thinking about money, almost all people are obsessed with money. With advanced AI we can enter new era, era when such mindset will become a distant past. AGI and ASI will enable us to develop ultra advanced technologies that can solve all problems we face today - climate change, cure all diseases, including aging, and help us becoming interstellar species. With these technological advancements, we can create a world where resources are abundant and automation will handle most if not all labor-intensive tasks. This transition will allow humanity to focus on creativity, innovation, and personal growth. With AGI technology, we can live in a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, pursue their passions, and contribute to the greater good without the constant pressure of financial survival.
