Cage is the reason African American heros got so much lime light, yes falcon was the first but Cage was not only a smash hit but a very long lasting main line comic for multiple years lasting from 72 to 86 before ending falcon got his shot and (sadly) lasted 1-2 years.

It’d be a fine line if he were in a mirror match with himself (which is what I assume is happening) but with the context that Sam Wilson has been Captain America for a little over a decade now, this sucks. Makes me wish they took a risk and made Sam Cap.

Weirdly Power man was the first marvel black hero to get a solo comic. What I'm saying is falcon was apart of the age of diversity but Cage and Bp where pillers.

Cage showed them a Black lead could sell their own comics it was due to him Sam ever got his own solo comics to begin with if we are honest here.
All Sam did was exist and help push how much diversity can improve the comic industry but he wasn't a pillar.

Thirdly, the reason why the Cap mantle hasn’t been ABLE to anything for Sam is cause every time they try, they half ass it. 1st run cut short cuz of Secret Wars, 2nd cut short cuz of Steve being a Nazi, 3rd cut short cuz it kept crossing over with Steve! The 4th was just a mini!

Falcon is a great character but he's no where close to the most mainstream in any league. Hell his poor box office and comic sells say so.
