@Hit_emup @SirLeoBDasilva Arteta is pushing for Zubimendi over Rodri in the Spain squad, seemingly on a mission to tank their World Cup chances. 😜
English

@SirLeoBDasilva Arteta has a special interesting in Zubi if not Norgaard would have been given a chance
English

@SirLeoBDasilva Poor performance should not be mistaken for fatigue; with Zubimendi in the lineup, Arsenal effectively lacks an eleventh player.
English

@ArsenalN7 He started well with Havertz and Eze. After the departure of both, Arsenal started playing rubbish as usual.
English

@GavinGekko @GameClarity @FootballEra_ My criticism is purely performance-based, not a personal attack on the players. After six seasons of constant experimentation under Arteta, I feel the club needs a new direction. Even if he wins a trophy, it's time for him to move on to allow for a proper team rework.
English

@Rejeevmry @GameClarity @FootballEra_ It's been like that for a while. Theres no variation or spontaneity. It's robotic and predictable. Set piece reliant. The whole system is stop the opposition and get it the wingers in the final 3rd without taking any risks in possession. So it's usually slow and teams can set.
English

The technical level of the Zubimendi - Rice double pivot is ridiculously low. This is Mikel Arteta’s recruitment, he constructed this midfield without prioritising technical quality.
Arsenal’s midfield needs serious reconstruction, whether by Arteta or a new coach who places greater emphasis on technical quality. One of Rice or Zubimendi has to make way for a true technician, and it should be Zubimendi. At least Rice brings other elite qualities, it’s hard to point to a single standout attribute Zubimendi excels at.
English

@PeterKirum35661 @EduardoHagn Zubimendi hasn't lived up to the role Arteta is testing him in, yet he seems to have 'untouchable' status, as Arteta won't take him off even when he's struggling.
English

@EduardoHagn No zubimendi he did nothing all game. Eze should have started with rice, odegard, eze. Period.
English

@GavinGekko @GameClarity @FootballEra_ Furthermore, I’m not particularly supportive of the tactical direction Arteta has taken with Arsenal this season.
English

@Rejeevmry @GameClarity @FootballEra_ well it's not bitter. you are trying to pin everything on one player when clearly its not. its the manager! its the manager! ITS THE MANAGER!!!
English

@GavinGekko @GameClarity @FootballEra_ The manager sets the strategy, but players have to deliver. Zubimendi is supposed to run the midfield, and his recent form hasn't met that standard. You can't blame Arteta for individual errors—it’s not like he’s coaching him to fail.
English

@GameClarity @FootballEra_ You cannot hide your fangs in a smile; they will appear at the end of the smile. You made a statement and then contradicted it yourself at the end. A player with a very low mentality and lacking confidence is the main problem Arsenal is facing now.
English

Arsenal has always had a poor form towards the end of the season under Arteta, it wasn't Zubimendi's fault that they couldn't win the league in 2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025 and now in 2025/2026, if Arsenal has struggled is definitely a different issue and not Zubimendi.
Arsenal is suffering from mentality issues and poor coaching/management
English

@GameClarity @FootballEra_ What you are saying is about 'was' and 'if' only, but the reality says the opposite. Zubimendi is one of the main reasons for the situation Arsenal is facing now.
English

This is a big disrespect to Zubimendi.
Zubimendi has been an elite midfielder for many years such that clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool wanted him.
The issue is that Arteta has forced Zubimendi to start doing things like tracking back, man marking, defensive excessively that he is not used to and is not part of his game.
This has made him to tire out as the season progressed, remember, he was very good at the beginning of the season, even scoring goals.
Zubimendi brings calmness, control, dictates the tempo of the game excellently well, has good line breaking passes. He is an elite and elegant ball playing midfielder.
If Zubimendi was playing for Man city under Pep, you would have been praising him like Rodri and Bernardo.
The difference in his performance is poor coaching, even now Zubimendi's confidence has taken a hit, he used to be one of the most confident players in the world
English

@Erzezz @Mo_Arsenal9 Arsenal's defense became this weak only after the arrival of new defensive coach Gabriel Heinze.
English

@Mo_Arsenal9 I think Gabriel did two mistakes that led to goals. First goal he literally kneeled before Cherki just stay on your foot and defend. Second goal he lost position to Haaland so that led to him losing a duel and then he scored. He could done much better in both of theese situations
English

X is a weird place dominated by idiots from a certain region.
Ødegaard created 4 chances and 1 big chance, but he is getting abused.
Zubimendi played better than Rice. Zubimendi getting abused.
Eze lost ball close to double digit times, 0% dribble success, but he is getting praised for hitting the post.
Gabriel Magalhaes was the worst defender today as per rating as well but he is best because he used to score goals from corners. Watch all the goals Arsenal conceded this season. 70% of them are because of him. I swear to God.
They don't like Gyökeres because they wanted Isak and Osimhen.
English

@02_arsenal64949 @dejesusofficia So, you redefined the meaning of 'outstanding'?
English

@Rejeevmry @dejesusofficia Which present are you taking about? He has been outstanding all his career. He did exceptionally well in the first half of this season fit Arsenal. His problem started recently and I am sure it can be addressed. He can't just turn bad overnight. You guys need let him breathe
English

@EduardoHagn Ffs!
Arsenal should stop getting washed players from rival clubs.
