Reform UK are cooked. Despite promising to ban Commonwealth voting, Reform are running Nigerian, Bangladeshi, Indian, and Zimbabwean nationals as candidates at the local elections. Zia Yusuf has also promised to ban visas for nations demanding reparations — but not for Sri Lanka, his parents' nation of origin. Reform thinks it's a good idea to give our politics to foreigners, so that Nigel Farage is less likely to be called racist by the BBC. (They're going to call him racist anyway.) What is the point of an anti-immigration party which stands foreign nationals as candidates? How is this "taking our country back"?

Platforms hosting lawful content must be shielded from government pressure to censor. We would require transparency in content moderation and prohibit state-directed takedowns of legal speech. The Online Safety Act law threatens the integrity of investigative journalism, whistleblowing, and political debate. Fears of liability lead to over-moderation, driving smaller players out of the market and empowering Big Tech. A Restore Britain government would therefore repeal the Online Safety Act - any Labour VPN ban would also be immediately reversed. We would restore free speech.
