I think I finally perfected this preset I’ve been working on. Deep violet / muted indigo tones, soft shadows, cinematic but subtle. It started as late-night Lightroom experimenting and slowly became my new direction. Can’t wait to use this on upcoming work.

there's a part of this in which the film becomes so reminiscent of her (2013), which is my absolute favourite film ever. which is to say, like her, this earns its emotional weight through sheer earnestness. love it.
