Any time I’m not prepared to tip ~20% for a fair service, I simply don’t even seek it and I do it myself. I can’t afford 20% for a waiter? I cook at home. Can’t afford 20% for food delivery? I pick it up myself. Can’t afford 20% for grocery delivery? I go get them myself. I don’t understand why so many people feel entitled to other people’s labor. I suspect very, very deep down it’s the welfare state. Many people don’t have the motivation to work knowing that people that don’t work live better than the ones that do work. So they start spiraling down into a race-to-the-bottom mindset. “I don’t have to tip, it’s optional and you already make $8 for a whole grocery trip” Etc. The only solution is for you to become what you want to see in the world. That’s the only way we reverse this trend. Serve your neighbor with a servant’s heart. Not for a tip nor for a reward, but just to serve. Same thing when you bless someone with a big tip, don’t do it because it will be appreciate it, do it to serve your neighbor. And to reward hard work Vs the people that stay at home and collect our tax-payer money. When you serve your neighbor, you serve God. He is always watching.

Lets get some opinions here for those who do deliveries, and from those who use the apps to order their groceries. If you order food for someone else to shop for, and deliver to your home, should you tip? And when they arrive, if it is a very large order as shown, would you help unload if you don't tip?

@BartSagaser @RickD_GK @Ilegvm I think Americans need a lesson in paying a living wage so tipping doesn't have to be a thing for food service/ delivery people. If you can't afford to pay your employees a living wage then you shouldn't own a business. End of.

@ravenyze @RickD_GK I’m not rich and rarely order out but the least I’m tipping is $5 for a six minute trip from my Chinese spot. I’d feel guilty only tipping $5 for this.

@RickD_GK I always tip for effort involved. if it a few things I will give them 5. If it was a full order like this. That shoulda been at least 25-30. The amount really doesn't matter since 1 thing can be so pricey.

It feels like it’s heading in that direction, this feels similar to Bill being hired on the football side of things. It just feels like Hubert was a casualty to further push the narrative of building the new arena more than anything. Losing Caleb for the end of the year was just too much for the team to overcome. I just don’t see the projected recruiting class sticking around either.
