@CarolineGruyter @RoryStewartUK So we should start saying we will ban Elon Musk’s platforms if they drop NATO support.
English

And so it starts:

@RosieisaHolt @UKLabour Some people give that blue tick a bad name.
English

@booneybig1 She will hurt, but she has possible been saved from suffering the worst in-laws imaginable.

@carolvorders I'd slam it in his face. And I hold doors open for almost everyone.
English

Lee Anderson eh? ⏬
Said to a security guard
"f*** off. Everyone opens the door to me"
🤷🏼♀️🙄
Jonathan Pie@JonathanPieNews
Lee Anderson, doing the whole ‘Do you know who I am?!’ performance, and swearing at a security guard for just trying to do his job - keeping people like Lee Anderson safe. What a cunt.
English

@EdwardJDavey Putin is laughing and rubbing his hands now no doubt.

@RoryStewartUK What has the America voting public done? I think we the bemused just wonder "why?". Is it racism, misogyny, a lack of a moral compass? Is it perhaps decent Americans being scared of the consequences of a Trump defeat?
English

@kentish_made Though quite a few French people think it was a bad idea as they now can't read about royal gossip and scandals in BONJOUR magazine.
English

@jonsopel He isn’t. He is saying that he is in a winning position and that if he does lose then some trickery has taken place. Preparing the ground.

OBR confirm that the Tories borrowed an astonishing £127 BILLON.
Never ever let the Tories say ‘they are good at managing the economy’ #Budget2024
English

Well I'm shocked! I honestly didn't think #DonaldTrump was capable of lowering french fries into oil. This will certainly come in handy when he loses the election. youtu.be/smVrvsZIxNc?si…

@tschak I thought it was so well documented that the designers were initially intending Amiga to be a console. Yes, it morphed into a workstation with great animation abilities but initially it was to be a console. As was their Atari 800 before it.
English

Where the F*** do these people come from in the Amiga Community? They come out of the wood work to tell me I can't do the very thing I'm doing, with the most bat-shit bonkers non-arguments. eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p…

@JamesCleverly Too soon. Tory sleaze is still too fresh in the memory to use that term.
English

Love Taylor, hate Labour sleaze.
Pressuring the police to cater to celebrities isn’t just a misuse of resources - it’s a violation of the police’s operational independence.
The government is getting a bad reputation for this, they won’t be able to shake it off.
Harry Yorke@HarryYorke1
Exclusive: The attorney general was called in by the government to press the Metropolitan Police into providing Taylor Swift with a taxpayer-funded blue-light escort to her Wembley concerts this summer 1/4 thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

@tschak Here and I thought *every* Amiga fan would know that the chipset was initially intended to become a games console. Atari were intending to purchase it for crying out loud.
English

Some of the r/amiga's responses to my "To Game Developers: Why did you eschew the operating system?" question are absolute pathetic gold. Jesus christ, these people are toxic. #retrocomputing #retrogaming #gamedev

English

@CraigRussell80 Why are they still bleating on about this?! Is there no real news in the world at the moment?
English

@ProfTimBale Especially when said global superstar's previous concert was subject to a terror plot.
English

As this utterly absurd obsession drags on and on (and on), I can't help feeling that most people would actually support blue-lighting a global superstar musician over some random politician they've never heard of from abroad. But there we are... thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…
English

@colin72133031 @implausibleblog Yes, whilst undermining our democracy.
English

@implausibleblog By answering the way he does.. “The speakers office is always right”, with a smug grin. He’s not admitting he lied.. He’s offering up a nuanced perception ( for his audience) that The Speakers Office response was wrong.. Classical narcissism at play..
English

Left: Nigel Farage claims that the Speaker's Office and the Parliamentary Securty told him not to hold in-person surgeries on grounds of security concerns
Right: Nigel Farage admits he lied about the Speaker's Office and the Parliamentary Securty telling him not to hold in-person surgeries on grounds of security concerns

@MarinaPurkiss Usually things like this become an "accident" when somebody else notices that you did it.
