Leaving NXT After our match against TOG, I decided to step down from my role as coach at NXT after 1.5 years. I want to briefly explain my reasons to avoid any questions in the future. At NXT, we ve built an incredible environment where players can grow and develop without time pressure. That was also one of the main reasons I initially joined the project. Over the months and years, we developed an extremely close core - most recently consisting of Spocki, Kongi and me. Of course, players like Terrox, Movi, and Zery were also a part of it for a long time. The guys really grew on me over time, and we had the rare opportunity to stick together as a team for so long - even when the results in the VCL didnt always go our way. We had some great phases, but just as often, we missed out on the storyline where we wouldve taken the next step I still remember the moment against SK on Bind, where a 3v1 cost us the series, or more recently, the Red Bull Homeground, where we lost games we basically had in the bag None of that threw us off at first - we kept pushing But in the last 3-4 months, we started making mistakes we had already solved long ago. And I blame myself for that, because I didnt bring the same energy and drive to fix those issues like I did in the beginning That ultimately led me to the decision to step aside so someone new - with fresh ideas and a different approach - can support the team One person I have to mention is Darxcio. That kid has more potential than anyone I’ve ever seen in his age group. Still, we have to be honest and say that, for various reasons, our environment wasnt the perfect fit for him - even though we really tried hard to make it work As for the rest of the team: Ive got nothing but positive things to say. Im confident every one of them can make it in esports and still has a lot of untapped potential that’ll shine in the years to come Thanks to the team for an amazing experience, and thanks to NXT and also the EPF for letting me be part of this project By far the best-organized and most pleasant environment I’ve worked in within esports so far. Cheers TL;DR: I left NXT
