On 2/5 after a Power of Question Formation session by @RightQuestion I started thinking about my students’ thinking and if they were thinking what I was hoping they would think during a lesson. Today, I began thinking of ways to lead my students’ thinking from art➡️math➡️art.

This should be posted in every classroom. Did you know that 3-year-olds average 30 questions per hour, but college students only average 3? What happens to our questions? With @KEDCGrants @KedcARTS we are digging into this with @RightQuestion #Arts2KyEd #ListenToYourArt

An edumyth that I see regularly used to criticize inquiry teaching is that it's necessarily unstructured & chaotic which leads to poor learning outcomes. The Question Formulation Technique, developed by the @RightQuestion Institute is a great, highly structured, inquiry tool.

@teachthemx3 @Doug_Lemov @RightQuestion I notice that students don’t know how to ask questions. Check out the magic of the Question Formulation Technique (QFT). Maybe start with an image of a triangle as a question focus before Desmos task.
