Incredible learning in our PD today as we explored high impact instructional strategies - small group instruction & tools and representation in math. Fantastic discussion, sharing, & insight.

Tonight Riverside hosted our first Heritage Carousel for our school community. We had traditional food, dances, clothing, information, and music - it was a wonderful evening of togetherness, celebration, & connection. @TVDSB

The Riverside community came together & donated 165 pairs of PJs to a local @tvdsb school for the Holiday season. Great things happen when we come together & share our care! Way to go Rams. @tvdsb

A hugely successful Super Hero Family Math & Literacy night run by @InvestChildren at Riverside tonight. A huge turnout with tons of fun & learning together. @TVDSBmath @TVDSBLiteracy

Today Riverside PS participated together as a school to support Canadian hero, Terry Fox. We ran together, with a unified goal: to raise money and awareness for cancer research. It was a day of unity and strength as a school community. That’s what it’s all about! 💕

On Friday, Riverside Ss we’re led by Tanya, parent & member of the Oneida Nation, in a school wide blessing in Oneida, a moment of silence for those who never returned home, a healing circle for our FNMI Ss, & Q’s answered. It was a day of listening, learning, & healing.

WE WON GOLD! It has been an incredible day for our The Amabile Choirs we won gold in the historical children’s category with a mark of 90.  We placed second in the folk in category with a silver standard, and a mark of 84. @CBCkd @ChoralCanada @amabilechoirs @CTVLondon

That’s a wrap @Riverside_PS on the 2022-2023 year! I cannot thank our students enough for taking me on the journey of a lifetime with all of their GOLD accomplishments in Music this year! It has been a sincere joy watching our Rams shine! I am so blessed to be your teacher!

We didn't have the best weather, but that didn't stop our primary division from having an amazing playday on Tuesday. Our grade 7 leaders did a phenomenal job leading our events. @Riverside_PS

This weekend is the local Oakridge Pride event, and Ss at Riverside had the opportunity at recess yesterday to come to the gym & create posters of love, support, and pride. Beautiful messages & pictures were created. #ramsrock

Several classes at Riverside enjoyed painting “Strawberry Moon” with Moses Lunham online. Mrs. Gallacher’s kindergarten class did an amazing job, don’t you think?! #ramsrock

We wish all Indigenous staff, students, & families a safe and enjoyable National Indigenous Peoples Day! June 21st corresponds to the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Many Indigenous Nations celebrate their cultures at this time of year, a tradition for centuries.

I love when the London Public Library comes in to present about the Summer Reading Club. I can feel the excitement bubbling in our students. This is such a great program and am so happy to promote it. @londonlibrary @Riverside_PS
