@JkFtSRBiJX0TnCJ I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. A few years ago, I lost my grandparents to dementia, and the years leading up to their passing was time we spent watching them slip away, slowly forgetting everything they knew.

@cutiieepie6 I don't wonder. I know. My wife tells me my cat yowls when I leave. And we also have a camera set up in our home that links to an app on our phones and we can watch them. When they are not napping, they are anxiously looking out the window for us.

@cutiieepie6 I hope so. At the very least, my cats know that I am someone they feel safe and secure around while they are sleeping because they love to curl up in my armpits or against my legs.

@lkkedicobanii In their attempt to get the male cat back, the neighbors practically dumped another kitten on us. This little kitten we named Scruffles. And one day, that male cat was never seen in the neighborhood again. Do not know what happened to him. I hope he found a good home.
