Penn's Top 10 Players of the Past 20 Years BOYS 1 Markus Burton 5'11" 2,273 career points. Played a big role as a JR in leading Penn to a regional title appearance. He exploded onto the national scene his SR year leading the Kingsmen to a 28-2, 11-0 semistate appearance. He currently plays at Notre Dame where he was the ACC Rookie of the Year. 2 Drew Lutz 6’1” 1,079 pts career points, his SR year he scored 524 pts and was instrumental in Penn winning 24 games and a semistate appearance in 2019. He played at Incarnate Word and Bethel University. He earned a NAIA 3rd team All-American selection his SR year and guided the Pilots to a win in the NAIA tournament in 2024. 3 Austin Torres 6’7” 625 pts in just two years at Penn JR/SR. Played at Notre Dame. Secured 193 rebounds and scored 200 points. 4 Tyler Brown 6’5” 1,210 career points, as a SR was the leading scorer for the 24-3, 8-0 NIC, 2006 Regional champs. Tyler went on to play at Bethel University where he helped the Pilots to 3 NAIA appearances including a Final Four finish in 2010. 4X Mid-Central Conference selection and was inducted into the Bethel Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023. 5 Noah Applegate 6’6” 1,709 career points, on the same team as Drew Lutz and as a SR was the leading scorer for the 24-4, 11-1 NIC 2019 regional champs. Noah played at Hillsdale College. 6 Jeff Laidig 6’4” 861 pts, the 2012 grad played at Belmont University. Part of 2 NCAA tournament appearances and 2 NIT appearances for the Bruins. 7 Caleb Laidig 6’5” 741 pts 21-4, 7-1, as a JR was the 2nd leading scorer on the semistate team. As a SR led the Kingsmen to a regional appearance. Caleb played at Bethel University. Bethel made the NAIA tournament advancing past the first round 3 out of his 4 years. 8 Tommy Kurth 6’1” 997 pts, as a FR scored 127 points on a semistate team. As a SO 2nd leading scorer for the regional finalists. The 2009 grad played at Valparaiso University where he started 23 of his last 24 games as a FR. 9 Joe Smith 5’10” 989 pts 2nd leading scorer as a JR on the regional finalists team. As a SR 3rd leading scorer on the semi state finalist team that won 28 games. He plays for Depauw University. 10 Billy Dosiak 6’0” 866 pts 2nd leading scorer for the 2014 regional finalists GIRLS 1 Trinity Clinton 5’7” 1,508 career points, Penn’s all-time leading scorer. All-time leader in steals at 303 for her career. 4x sectional champion. 2x regional champion / Final 4 finish 2x. Junior All-Star. 2x NIC MVP / 4x All-Conference Player. 3x all-state player. 4x conference title. Won 99 games. The 2021 grad played at Loyola Chicago before transferring to Holy Cross. 2 Camryn Buhr 6’1” 1,481 career points, All-time leader in rebounds at 702. won a sectional as a FR, state runner up as a SO, sectional title as a JR, and led Penn to a state title as a SR. Won 94 games. 3x conference title, 3x All State selection, Indiana All Star. The 2016 grad played at LeHigh where she was a 3x All-Patriot League member 3. Alex Morton 5'9" 1067 career points 3x all-conference selection, NIC MVP SR, 2x all-state player, 3x conference title. 3x sectional champion. led Penn to 1st State Finals appearance in 2011, 2x Regional champion, Junior All-Star, SR Indiana All-Star, played 4 years at DI Western Michigan 4. Kelsey Reynolds 5’9” 1,491 career points, McDonald’s All-American nominee. The 2009 grad played at Boston College then transferred to DePaul University. 5 Lily Svete 6’2” 1,314 career points, McDonald’s All-American nominee. The 2009 grad played at the University of Florida where she set several Top 10 records. 6. Kaitlyn Marenyl 5’8 775 career points, 4th leading scorer as a SR on the state title team. won a sectional as a FR, state runner up as a SO, sectional title as a JR, and led Penn to a state title as a SR. Won 94 games, 4x conference title, NIC selection 2xs, Indiana All State. The 2016 grad played at the American University where she made the All-Patriot League 3rd team her SR year. She played in the NCAA tournament and WNIT. 7. Taylor Lutz 5’9” 725 career points, 4X conference champ, won 83 games, 2 regionals, 1 semistate, Indiana All Star. The 2013 grad played at Grand Valley State University where she helped Grand Valley State to a NCAA DII Elite 8 appearance as a JR and a Midwest regional final appearance as a SR. 8. Reganne Pate 5’8” 1,023 career points, won 2 regionals and a sectional, won 98 games. Played at St. Francis University (FW) and as a JR made the 2nd team All-Crossroads League team and helped USF to a NAIA tournament appearance. 9. Sara Doi 5’5” 840 career points, won 97 games, scored 44 points as a FR on the sectional title team, scored 133 pts as a SO when Penn won state, leading scorer her SR year that won the regional title. NIC all-conference 2x, All-state HM. Played at Huntington University and IUSB where she helped the Titans to 2 NAIA appearances. 10. Caroline Buhr 6’2” 703 career points, played in two state title games FR/SR years, 4x conference title, Indiana All Star. The 2014 grad played at San Diego University. Up next: St. Joseph Huskies

MBA SELECT 7th grade boys turns a 5 point halftime deficit into a 10 point win. Great second half by the boys. Parker Creech lead had 32 and Brashaun Woods had 13. All boys contributed at a high level. Go tomorrow at 3:00 pm
