Resolv Labs just suffered a major exploit. An attacker minted 80M unbacked USR stablecoins, crashing the price from $1 to as low as $0.14 (now around $0.24). Most of the fake tokens were swapped for about $25M in Ethereum before the team stepped in. Resolv quickly paused the protocol stopping airdrops, staking, and withdrawals while confirming the main collateral pool is still safe. Some of the malicious tokens have already been burned. The team has given the hacker a clear choice: return 90% of the funds within 72 hours and keep 10% as a bounty, or face tracking and legal action.
