Lagos will humble you, no jokes. I was jobless for 4 months. Rent was close. Account balance was just there… like ₦200k. Then I saw a job asking for 2–3 years experience in something I barely knew. I said… we move. Crammed small things online, entered the interview with full confidence. Next thing… I got the job Now it’s 3 weeks in… Every day na survival mode. Google, YouTube, ChatGPT… na my real colleagues. The funny part? My boss is praising me 😂 At this point… I don’t even know if I’m faking it… or I’m actually getting good.

I i was telling my wife the other day that I feel so bad for Gen zs and the generation after them. I was at an event that had a lot of them, and it was just sad. Bad Govt and bad economy have robbed them of having a vibrant social life. They hardly buy drinks at the club, can't afford cars, and can't afford decent apartments, so they create their own little way of having fun in raves and the likes. No money to afford drinks. That's why you see prevalent recreational drug use in that demographic From Uni, I was able to properly plan and go clubbing and will have such an amazing time, i would fly from Benin to Lagos with 10k then and not pay it any thought. When I started working, my first car was 700k, a 2006 EOD in 2012 then, and when I moved to my first apartment. Rent was 1m for a 2bed on the island, and 1hp ac was 60k. I remember buying a ticket to Venice for 180k and changing 2000usd for 360k at southern sun that year. I feel so bad for them, their youth taken away from them because bad govt after bad govt, devaluation after devaluation.

When Prof was forming the members of the command, he asked IBB to appoint the regional and state command heads.....IBB told him to go ahead and use his descretion and send him the list.....Na there the BANANA PEEL DEY🤣🤣 By the time Prof sent his list... 100% were Yorubas 100% were of the Sea Dogs Fraternity ( Pirates) 🤣🤣🤣🤣 IBB told him...just a chance to demonstrate balanced leadership...you fumbled...see your list....to criticise is easy, to practicalise...na war. IBB went ahead to amend the list. 2) DR TAI SOLARIN: IBB appointed him Chairman of the defunct People's Bank ( a Bank for poverty alleviation set up by IBB regime) Dr Solarin who swore on his life never to wear anything flambouyant, appeared in his first public appearance on FLAMBOUYANT AGBADA🤣🤣🤣 Within two years ( although he was innocent) but right under his nose (leadership ) big FRAUD rocked the Bank. Baba had to quickly resign 🤣🤣🤣 MORAL OF THE STORY: Govt crit8cs and activists often do not make GOOD LEADERS! Because they are more IDEALISTIC than PRAGMATIC & REALISTIC.
