My hot take: I’d swap Matheson for Nurse. Matheson is too arrogant and will never be put as 3LHD under this coach. He’s also not physical. And unless we’re signing Mcdavid🙄 we don’t need cap space. I’d also target future draft picks from the Oilers for when they collapse😮‍💨

So can someone explain to me how John Cooper had the Vezina Trophy winner (Vasilevskiy) and the Hart Trophy Winner (Kucherov) and STILL didn’t win the division AND got bounced in the first round by the lower seed and he STILL won the Jack Adams? Seems like his team MASSIVELY under performed.
