Trained to spin yarns and weave tales—literally. Beat gravity before it was cool; capillary action is fiber physics. Textiles Technologist, global trader, storyteller. Former NRI or Not Required Indian—take your pick. Liberal, not the Nehruvian kind. Seeker, not sermoniser—so disqualified from the Congress. Anti-Caste Savarkarite. Civilisational Hindu. Woke-immune, fact-addicted. What makes me a Right winger is that I seek the right answer, not the 'Secular' Congress one or the 'Communal' BJP one. History isn't incense-scented myth. Stupidity gives me hives. If you think Gandhi invented morality and socialism grows economies, move along.

As I write this, my inbox is overflowing with messages from TCS employees, from Lenskart employees, from Hindu students of Ashoka University and Azim Premji University, from teachers, from mothers, from civil servants. They are sharing screenshots, they are sharing their experiences, they are sharing ads and employee guidelines that show a distinct anti-Hindu bias. ‘Talk about TCS. Talk about the bindi in TBZ ads. Talk about Azim Premji. Talk about this. Talk about that’, the messages tell me. I hear you. You mean well. But I am ONE person. A private citizen with no institutional backing, no legal team, no corporate PR machine. I am doing what I can, using my voice, my credibility and my social media presence for the cause. But here is the question that bothers me; What are YOU doing? Why are Hindus depending on a handful of voices like mine to fight their fight for them in their own land? Hindus constitute the overwhelming majority of this country. Majority of TCS employees are Hindu, majority of Lenskart employees are Hindu, majority of students at Ashoka and Azim Premjee university are Hindu, majority of the teachers and professors are Hindu, and yet, Hindus behave like a persecuted minority. This cannot go on. If you face discrimination at your workplace for being a Hindu, file a complaint and go public with it. If your company runs advertisements that erase Hindu identity, name them, call for a boycott, and follow through. If your university hosts speakers who call for violence against your civilisation, stand up in that hall, walk out or record it and make it public. Stop waiting for someone else’s courage to be contagious. Dharma does NOT protect those who will not protect it!

“Changing your religion does not revoke your civilisational birth certificate” It does, sir, it absolutely does. At least when it’s Islam. Islam is not just a religious switch but a ground-up cultural and civilizational displacement. It does not absorb, it replaces. And quite aggressively, unremittingly so. Once you embrace this replacement, either voluntarily or involuntarily, you make an active, conscious choice to sever your civilizational umbilical cord. You forfeit your claim to all legacies of your past. You start with a clean slate. And that’s why Troy will never be Turkish heritage just because its site happens to fall within Turkey’s borders. That’s why the remains of Ai-Khanoum will always be Greek and not Afghan. Civilizational claims draw from civilizational continuity. You have none. If anything, claims like “Jinns built IVC and Muhammad destroyed it” only serves to hurt your lien further. Had the Ancient Egyptian religion survived to this day in any iteration, IT and not Egyptian Arabs would have the cultural claim to the pyramids and the temples. How could you, with a straight face, claim title to a heritage that you not only abandoned but actively endeavored to destroy? Indus Valley Civilization is NOT Pakistan’s heritage any more than Volubilis is Moroccan, and no amount of mental gymnastics is going to change that.
Dan Qayyum@DanQayyum

'Faith has changed on this land many times across millennia, from the unknown spirituality of the IVC to Buddhism, to Hinduism, to Islam. Each transition changed what people believed. None of it moved the land. None of it relocated the ruins. None of it altered who inherits the history. Changing your religion does not revoke your civilisational birth certificate any more than it revokes your right to your parents' property.'

Zakir Naik and pre-2014 Hindutva. You must read if you do not know this. 1. Zakir Naik was a fixed match. He was face of a sinister mafia that had Bollywood and Politics under its control. 2. Digvijay Singh and Mahesh Bhatt actively promoted him. Father of Alia Bhatt and Sasur of Ranbeef Kapoor. Sadlly, now BJP, RSS allies! (I feel RSS and BJP should admit their Urduwood obsession as a blunder, apologize for shortsightedness, and distance from them. Mistakes can happen. But they can also be rectified.) 3. He would be able to hold mega events for blatant conversions, and leaders would attend them. Planted people in such events would say they have converted. And this way deception would be spread. On contrary, getting even a small park for Shuddhi would be impossible. 4. I started going after him from 2006 or 2007. Wrote rejoinders to all his conversion articles that went super-viral. He had a team in Mumbai whose only job was to share Zakir Naik's articles (written specifically to convert confused Hindus) with those Hindus who were having any questions regarding religion. Orkut was the biggest platform then for such conversions. Soon, whenever his stooges will publish his articles, someone would post one of my articles as reply. His entire conversion game literally got punctured after that. 5. I distilled all his verbosity into core equations. Then he became a butt of jokes. For example, he argued to prove Islam in Vedas: Naabhi (mentioned in Veda Mantra) = Center = Mecca = Islam is central faith of humanity. I wrote, as per this logic. Peace = Sleep = Death = Poison Then, what does Islam = Peace mean? After that, words like Peaceful and Shantidoot became super-viral. They are popular even today. 6. Then he started allying with radicals and potential terrorists. This is where the game got dangerous. Really dangerous. A few articles by me on Terror Links of Zakir Naik helped getting a few of his programs abroad and in Kerala cancelled, by bringing out evidences. 7. In reply, my site was banned in Middle East and another had to be taken down due to a massive DDOS attack. My home address was leaked and there were fatwa calls against me. Earlier I used to write with Agniveer pseudonym. Never hid my identity but was also not particularly focused on promoting myself. It was then that I decided to start using my real name more openly. And give counter warnings - that if someone comes to target me or those who live around me, they will face consequences unimagined. Yes, I really mean it. I am prepared for it. I still follow Purush Sukta and keep 75% of my work private and confidential. But rest of 25% work, I do openly, with name and face. Further, I never work under any anonymous handles, profiles etc. 8. By 2012, we got his Peace TV banned in India due to terror and anti-India links. But it was still streamed illegally and governments refused to act, despite complaints. 9. In 2016, I started a campaign to probe Zakir Naik as we got information of some nefarious activity about to happen. Even started a signature campaign. 10. Soon Dhaka Attacks happened and terrorists admitted being Zakir Naik proteges. 11. Then NSA, ATS met us. We worked together in assembling and putting details in perspective. 12. Eventually, Zakir Naik had to be declared an absconding criminal. 13. @HinduJagrutiOrg did phenomenal work in legally trapping Zakir Naik in this whole process. They are experts in legal and regulatory activism. 14. In 2011, some of his stooges challenged me for debate. I wrote to Zakir Naik's team agreeing for debate and said we will broadcast it live on TV. Condition was that it will not be Peace TV to keep it impartial. We will make arrangements for a major channel to broadcast it. Paropkarini Sabha, Ajmer - the organization founded by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati agreed to back me as representing Arya Samaj. (The other bodies of Arya Samaj were split into 3 and fighting court cases to decide who is authentic) They refused to debate. Admitted that they avoid debating with Arya Samaj and Sikhs. 15. After this, many of original team members left him. Some chose a more liberal Muslim scholar like Ghamidi. Some decided to reform Muslims first and understand Islam first before converting Hindus. And some became Hindus. 16. Then I did all this under Agniveer that I had founded in 2008. Unfortunate, but I had to leave Agniveer and move on due to internal differences with new people who joined later. 17. But glad that before we parted ways, and I now chart a new journey, we could work together to eradicate a big menace name Zakir Naik - who was nothing but a propaganda machinery planted by enemies of Bharat. The Yajna was long over. And successfully. 18. Overall, Zakir Naik was a fixed match. He was face of a sinister mafia that had Bollywood and Politics under its control. 19. But there are many more fixed matches today - far more dangerous and more complex to eradicate. Now this is literally a game of chess with stakes far more lethal. Am looking for compatible Dharmiks who can work together to eradicate these. 20. I have calculated and done all kinds of stress testing analysis - we can win this Yuddha. But the approach will be totally counter-intuitive to current trends, ruthless, non-emotional, and even bring wrath of those on our side. - संजीव नेवर

Fun facts: A) First Battle of Panipat saw Babur using Indian villagers as human shields. He didn’t establish Mughal rule in India; rather, he established Timurid rule in Delhi and a few other northern parts of Bharat. B) Timurid rule technically ended in 1764 (Battle of Buxar), although one can say it was already gone with the fall of Aurangzeb. The British actually took Delhi from the Marathas, not the Timurids. C) Babur didn’t see himself as Mongol or Mughal and often abused Mughals for being uncivilised and problematic folks.
SANJAY HEGDE@sanjayuvacha

Today is the 500th anniversary of the first battle of Panipat, thus 500 years since the establishment of Mughal rule in India. Fun fact, Babar defeated Ibrahim Lodhi. Muslim rule over Delhi and north India began nearly 400 years prior to Panipat. Fun fact 2, Mughal rule ended in 1857 nearly 175 years ago. Fun fact 3 the Mongols/Mughals had been trying to capture North India for nearly 250 years before Babur's win. History plays the long game .

The myth that Vasco da Gama "discovered" the sea route to India is a staple of history books, but it ignores nearly 2,000 years of thriving maritime commerce. We’re told he "discovered" the sea route to India in 1498, but the truth is much more fascinating. 🧵 1️⃣ Ancient Networks: 2,000 years before Da Gama, the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea served as a "Lonely Planet" guide for traders across 26 Indian ports 2️⃣ Economic Powerhouse: By 50 CE, India was a manufacturing giant, trading everything from black pepper to tortoise shells for Roman gold and wine 3️⃣ The "Discovery" Myth: When Da Gama finally reached Africa's east coast, he didn't find "the unknown" - he found Indian ships already there. He actually had to be guided to India by a Gujarati captain named Kanji Malam @authoramish

2005: Israel GAVE Gaza away. Not “ended an occupation.” GAVE. IT. AWAY. — Every soldier: gone. — Every settler: gone. 8,000 Israelis dragged out of their homes by their own army, some kicking and screaming. Entire communities destroyed. — Jewish graves: exhumed, because Israel knew they’d be desecrated otherwise. — Greenhouses: LEFT STANDING. American Jewish donors paid $14 million to buy them and leave them intact so Palestinians could farm and build an economy. Within days, Palestinians looted and destroyed most of them. — Infrastructure: synagogues, farms, factories left behind as a functioning starter economy. Israel handed Gaza the keys to a functioning proto-state. A gift. 2006: They elected Hamas a genocidal terror group whose founding charter calls for the murder of every Jew on earth. Read it. It’s not subtle. 2005–2023: The world gave Gaza tens of billions of dollars. US, EU, UN, Qatar, Gulf states reconstruction funds, UNRWA, humanitarian aid. Estimates run $40+ billion total. What did Hamas build with it? — 300 to 500 MILES of terror tunnels longer than the NYC subway system. Under hospitals. Under schools. Under UNRWA facilities. Built with concrete meant for civilian housing. — Rocket factories. — A weapons smuggling empire through Sinai tunnels. — Personal billions for Hamas leaders. Haniyeh. Mashaal. Meshaal. Living in Qatari luxury hotels while children in Gaza starved. Look up their net worth. Go ahead. What they did NOT build: — A single functioning hospital they didn’t weaponize — A single school they didn’t store rockets in — A single bomb shelter for civilians (they have shelters for fighters) — An economy — A future Since Israel withdrew in 2005, Hamas and other Gaza terror groups have fired OVER 20,000 rockets at Israeli civilians. — 2008: rocket barrages + cross-border raid → Cast Lead — 2012: rocket barrages → Pillar of Defense — 2014: kidnap and murder of three Israeli teens + rockets → Protective Edge — 2021: 4,400 rockets in 11 days → Guardian of the Walls — 2023: 5,000+ rockets on October 7 alone. 12,000 more in the following months. ISRAEL STARTED NONE OF THEM. Every single war, every single round, started with rockets from Gaza or attacks on Israeli civilians. October 7 was not “resistance.” — 1,200 murdered in a single day. — Babies burned alive. — Women gang-raped beside the corpses of their friends. — Entire families executed in their safe rooms. — 250+ hostages dragged into tunnels. — The worst single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. “But the destruction in Gaza…” Yes. It’s devastating. And here’s what your genocide post leaves out: — Israel has nuclear weapons. Hasn’t used them. — Israel has the firepower to flatten Gaza in a day from the air. Hasn’t done it. — Instead, Israel has sent soldiers building by building, tunnel by tunnel, losing 900+ of its own young men and women, BECAUSE it’s trying to minimize civilian casualties against an enemy that hides behind them. — Israel issues evacuation warnings — leaflets, texts, phone calls tipping off Hamas in the process. — Hamas fires from hospitals, schools, mosques, UN facilities. They’ve admitted it. They’ve been filmed doing it. They’re proud of it. Gaza looks like this because the world continues to excuse barbaric terrorism instead of wiping it off the face of the map.

As a Muslim, I find it strange how ‘annihilate Hinduism’ is packaged as academic discussion. Try flipping the religion and see how fast the global response comes. If annihilation of a religion becomes acceptable language, we’ve already failed the idea of coexistence.

Ignorance and illiteracy dripping from every word. Before any Mughal stepped foot in India we had: Over two dozen major languages and dozens of regional dialects with copiously vast amounts of literature written millennia before Islam was born. At least 16 clearly distinct fully-developed regional cuisines and dozens of sub-cuisines dating back millennia before Mughals. (Documented pre-Mughal recipes in Nala’s Paka Darpanam, Manasollasa, Lokopakara, Lokaprakasha, Manasollasa, Sarangadhara Samhita) At least 264 documented and systemized musical Ragas as recorded by Sharngadeva in Sangita Ratnakara (13th c. pre-Mughal). They were the common foundation of both later traditions: Hindustani (North Indian) & Carnatic (South Indian) 8 major Painting schools and at least 16 major schools of sculpture before 13th c. 140 + technically elaborate manuals on royal, residential & temple architecture, garden design and iconography alone, besides innumerable incomparable temples, forts, caves and palaces long before Mughals ever stepped foot in India. In contrast the Mughals borrowed Persian for their courtly language, had no cuisine to speak of, and ZERO technical manuals on art or architecture. Not even ONE single Timurid manual on art & architecture exists as opposed to 141+ Hindu technical manuals on ancient art & architecture alone. And India has always had a hoary tradition of unsurpassed religious syncretism thousands of years before the Mughals ever got here. The only Mughal “syncreticism” was in collectively destroying Hindu, Buddhist and Jain places of worship, gods and goddess & sacred books. Your blatantly ahistorical drivel has nothing to do with real history.

Indian oil refineries must take extra steps on security, and sabotage from the inside. India must step up surveillance and security. I got a bad hunch that the adversary (GLISCO-DS linked) can burn a refinery to increase oil price for geopolitics & derail India's economy 2-in-1.

When a senior commentator and legal luminary argues that every state should have an equal number of seats in the Rajya Sabha, he overlooks a basic flaw in the proposal. States in India can be created, bifurcated, or even converted into Union Territories not through a constitutional amendment, but by an ordinary parliamentary enactment. Equal representation, therefore, would be open to blatant political engineering. Divide Uttar Pradesh into five states, give each the same number of Rajya Sabha members, and the dominance of the UP region would not be diluted at all; it would be multiplied fivefold in the Upper House. @thetribunechd @jomalhotra

They said printing had reached its peak. He proved them wrong. A self-taught engineer from India outran London’s finest minds & changed how the world consumed information. Meet Shankar Abaji Bhise (1867-1935), the Edison India almost forgot. Hailing from Bombay, Bhise was a child prodigy who designed a coal-gas generator at age 14 to light his house. By 20, he was designing tamper-proof bottles & a Station Indicator for the Bombay suburban railways, a precursor to the digital displays we see today. In the late 1890s, a British publication, Inventors’ Review, announced a global competition to design an automatic weighing machine for groceries. Bhise entered from Bombay. He was not a professional engineer, yet his design beat every single British contestant. This win gave him the momentum to go to London. Before he left, he made a classic vow to his friends: "I will not return unless I make it/I run out of money." In the early 1900s, the Linotype & Monotype machines were the kings of the printing world, but they were massive, expensive, & relatively slow. Bhise developed the Bhisotype (initially called the Spasotype). While the best European machines were struggling to cast & assemble a few 100 characters, Bhise’s machine could handle 1200 characters/min. British engineers at the Caxton Type Foundry publicly doubted him. Bhise took the challenge, set up his own foundry (Bhiso-Type Ltd) in 1908, & proved that his machine could use 32 different metal types simultaneously to print books at lightning speed. By the time he moved to America, the New York American & other major publications were calling him the Indian Edison. In 1930, he finally met his childhood inspiration, Thomas Edison, in New Jersey. Edison was reportedly stunned by the sheer variety of Bhisey’s 200+ inventions: ranging from the Spirit Typewriter (a mechanical Ouija board) to early models of the push-up bra & automatic toilet flushers. During WWI, he invented Atomidine (originally Baseline), an iodine-based formulation to treat malaria & purify water. It was so effective that it was endorsed by the famous psychic Edgar Cayce & is still sold in modified forms today. He also formed a partnership with Sir Ratanji Tata to manufacture the Bhisotype. However, a lack of belief from colonial banks meant the project was delayed. He died in New York in 1935. He held 40+ patents, but because he did not have a Marketing team/the backing of a sovereign nation, his revolutionary printing press was never mass-produced. He solved a global bottleneck, but the world was not ready for an Indian to hold the key.
