Here are a few of the cohorts who have completed their courses across our education centres in recent weeks since our last photos. They represent the dedicated staff within our Clinical, PTS, Driving and TEL teams with whom they have worked alongside. Congratulations all.

2 PHONE (Pre-Hospital Obstetric and Neonate Emergency) have run this week at our Newbury training centre. This skills and SIM based COLLABORATION between paramedics and midwives allows each healthcare professional to learn from the others expertise and experience #teamwork

8 days into a new job @SCAS999 & one of the highlights has been a tour of the immersive SIM rooms, facilities, props, make up, moulage & tools at the Newbury training centre. The OPPORTUNITIES for INNOVATIVE simulation are huge! I’m excited to see the other training centres too

This #ControlRoomWeek we celebrate our partnership with @SCAS999 Our crews work together to get to the most critical patients as quickly as we can. We collaborate on training days and without their help we wouldn't be able to bring the hospital to the roadside, 365 days a year.

Members of our Clinical Education Team attended Beaulieu Blue Light Day on Sunday, to demonstrate some of the great work they do. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.

Our Simulation Technologist, Eleanor, has given us an insight into how she creates moulage for trauma injuries. These are made from silicone and applied to the skin using glue, then blended in with alcohol paint, and finally touched up with special FX make up.

We attended Health Education England South West Multi-Professional Education Conference on Friday. They got stuck in by providing a breakout session - ‘a demonstration of simulation based education in the pre-hospital environment’.
