#TBT - January 21, 2023 Sarasota Christian 47 The Classical Academy 33 We won the @SSAAAthletics 1A Boys Basketball bracket by defeating TCA. Jayven Szewczyk dominated the entire game by scoring 21 points, Randall Collins added 11 points.

#TBT - January 20, 2023 Sarasota Christian 61 Babcock 16 We advanced in the SSAA 1A Tournament by beating the Trailblazers in the Semi-Finals. Ben Milliken led the way with 25 points, and Justin Brock added him in double digits scoring 12.

#TBT - January 17, 2023 Sarasota Christian 63 Sarasota Military Academy 23 Led by a big night from Travis Miller we completed the season sweet of SMA. Jayven Szewczyk, Maison Montgomery, and Ben Milliken all joined Travis in double-digits.

We concluded our season with a record of 18-11 as we lost on the road in the Sweet Sixteen to one of the best teams in the state regardless of classification. Thanks to all that followed & supported the team this year.

Updated FHSAA Class 1A - Region 3 Bracket. Excited for the opportunity to travel to Lakeland and take on the top seed this Saturday night in the Sweet Sixteen.

We advanced to the FHSAA 1A - Sweet Sixteen with a dominant home win in front of another great tournament crowd! We travel to Lakeland to play the top seed, Victory Christian on Saturday at 7:00 PM.

Missing a few guys who were playing in the Baseball game tonight but we were able to enjoy a team meal at Rise Pies in UTC. One last home game this Saturday night as we host All Saints Academy in the FHSAA Regional Quarterfinals at 7:00 PM. Winner advances to the Sweet Sixteen.

Congratulations to Ben Milliken on being named the FACA-District 16 1A Player of the Year. Coach Bru was named FACA-District 16 1A Coach of the Year. This is his 5th time winning a Coach of the Year award in his seven seasons as Head Coach at Sarasota Christian.

Only four programs in Sarasota & Manatee Counties have now made three-straight appearances in the FHSAA Regional Tournament: Booker, Riverview, Sarasota, & Sarasota Christian. We earned a home game this upcoming Saturday night in the round of 32 at 7:00 PM.

For the third consecutive year we've advanced to the FHSAA 1A-Region 3 Tournament. This is our first time entering the bracket as a District Champion and hosting a round of 32 game. We will host All Saints Academy on Saturday, February 14 at 7:00 PM.

DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!!!

We advanced to the FHSAA 1A-District 11 Championship game for the second straight season with our win tonight over Lakeside Christian. We will host the District Final this Saturday at 7:00 PM.

District Tournament Week! We are the top seed in the FHSAA 1A-District 11 Bracket. We will host the winner of LCS/GCH at SCS on Thursday, February 5 in the District Semi-Finals. If we advance we will host the District Championship at SCS on Saturday, February 7 at 7:00 PM.

We swept the season series with Bradenton Christian to close out the regular season with a 15-10 record. We are the top seed in FHSAA 1A - District 11. Will host the District Semi-Final on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

With tonight’s win Coach Bru has now won his 100th game as Head Coach at Sarasota Christian in less than 7 seasons. We’ve competed and beat the best schools in the area while never having a losing season. No coach in the area has won more games at their current school.
