In medtech, you don’t “fail fast.” You fail slowly. Expensively. Sometimes quietly. But you learn. And if you’ve got grit, you keep building. Because the work matters — even when the world doesn’t see it.

That project didn’t ship. But the lessons did. And because of that experience, I showed up stronger on the next one. And the one after that. Future products did make it into the hands of surgeons — and continue to help patients to this day.

Quality suffers when companies fail to balance time, cost, and scope—you can’t optimize all three. Many prioritize speed-to-market (time) or cost-cutting over long-term product excellence. In MedTech and regulated industries, sacrificing quality isn’t an option—it’s about rigorous systems engineering, robust regulatory compliance, and iterative design. High-quality experiences aren’t rare because they’re impossible; they’re rare because they require discipline, trade-off management, and long-term vision over quick wins.

What are the reasons companies fail to create quality products? Why high-quality experiences are so rare in the world?

@TheCryptoSage__ I don’t disagree—market traction and impact matter. But in MedTech, regulatory processes aren’t just about safety and efficacy; they’re the gateway to market access. Without them, even a proven product can’t be legally sold or used.
