#TheDrama is nothing like what I expected. It tackles darker subject matter with a sharp comedic edge that will leave some viewers frustrated. I appreciate that Kristoffer Borgli’s latest film attempts to unpack and rationalize these themes without offering easy answers. The result is a chaotic journey that’s hard to look away from. Zendaya and Pattinson are outstanding, and the frantic style serves the story perfectly. I’ll take this over another formulaic romantic film any day of the week.
