Hamas exploited them to fire at Israeli civilians, triggering an Israeli response. It was a miracle no Christians were killed, but the church was damaged in the blast. This is classic Hamas tactics, hide behind civilians, fire at Jews, then cry when the consequences arrive. They don’t care if Christians die. They only care about protecting their terror infrastructure.
