Adding to this, I also think it’s funny to call Kumonga and Manda glup shittos when they’ve had as many if not more appearances (not including stock footage) than more popular monsters like Gigan, Biollante, Hedorah, Destoroyah, and SpaceGodzilla.

Y'know I find it hard to even form real thoughts about the MV Glup Shittos other than "they look kinda neat ig." So, it baffles my mind that there are genuine shooters to this degree for the likes of Tiamat and Scylla of all monsters

@timAcatsoftpaws @Llamarchy Manda is the main monster in Atragon and Kumonga is the main villain of Son of Godzilla. They aren’t Glup Shittos.

It shockingly may come as a surprise to some but:
Glup Shitto creatures, only made to fill the background in KOTM, or made for a comic book/TV show for extended lore ≠ Kaiju that if not featured prominently in a Godzilla led film, often have greater roles elsewhere.

I rally don’t care if legendary ever bothers to use 90% of the Toho rogues gallery, but even when they do make a neat looking one they BARELY get any time to shine. Muto, skullcrawers, Shimo and Skarking are the only MV OCs that actually get to have meaningful dedicated moments

You’re really missing the point of what he was saying honestly. He’s not even talking about DAM in particular, he means the monsters in the rogues gallery.
Plus most of the side monsters in the MV have about as much to do in all the movies as Varan in DAM

@SamRaidsAgain I like Tiamat and Scylla, but a Kaiju with their own film is just more interesting long term
I don't think its fair to compare a kaiju that appeared in a recent blockbuster to kaiju that appeared in older movies. Obviously the recent ones are more known by general audiences!
