Ppl have most definitely just straight up forgotten what filler is. You absolutely do not need to watch Naruto's filler to understand the story. NONE of it is present in the manga.

See shit like this is what I’m talking about. That we, the audience, have seen, the only people who have actively done anything inherently wrong are Jax and Zooble, and even then Zooble was just antagonistic towards Caine. It just feels so sloppy

The problem is that instead of focusing on your scripting, storytelling, and personality quirks, most creators use it as a lazy way to avoid doing any real editing and pump out stuff rapid fire.
I do hate all creators whose thumbnails are just selfies though, it's super lazy.
