Poverty is mostly a real-resources problem, not a nominal-money problem Poverty exists because: not enough goods & services are produced per person (low productivity) terrible institutions / property rights / rule of law / corruption education & skills are low infrastructure is missing violence / war / political instability destroys wealth geography & climate make production very hard None of those are fixed by creating more zeros in bank accounts.
