Writing anything remotely academic 🤓… “I really should get started” “No I need to clean the house, reorganise the cupboards & get all the books out of the library first” 🕰️ FLIES by… *actually starts* “Oh this is really interesting” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Deadline in a matter of days ☕️🙄

I could keep going but the 🧵 will run out… If you’ve ever considered a career in mental health / therapy. Talk to someone in the field (also always very happy to), I love what I do & forever grateful to those I’ve had the fortune to learn from.

4. Therapy & being a therapist is messy, just like life. There’s no perfect method (this is taking some getting used to) 5. I love learning. Saying I don’t know is a real skill 6. Curiosity makes for SO many interesting conversations. Education is a 2 way street
