Why do we treat our diagnostic & treatment machines better than we treat our staff in health & care work?
When is staff 'down time' for review, maintenance & prevention of breakdown from over-use?

Thank you so much @ClareFuller17 for helping me to share our experience of choice and living with advanced disease. It was Johns wish I shared our experience to help even one other family.
I’m grateful to everyone that has listened but there are many more people to reach.

Despite some public transport nightmares, we had a great workshop on "Compromise and Best Interests" last month thanks to funding from @IMEweb! Really interesting discussions that will hopefully continue. And some great illustrations by @jimmyrogers to capture everything!

Over the years, I've learnt that the best, highest performing teams are those where everyone feels a sense of belonging & appreciation for the unique & different things they bring to the team. So I'm happy to post this blog & sketchnote on "things boldly inclusive leaders do". They build an inclusive culture through foundations of continuous learning, active listening, authentic communication & creating a psychologically safe environment for people to thrive: qaspire.com/what-boldly-in…. Thank you @minettenorman for the principles & @tnvora for your powerful interpretation.

Three strategies to turn a workplace conflict into a constructive negotiation:
1) Go to the balcony: step away so that you can see the bigger picture
2) Build the Bridge: seek to understanding the other’s standpoint to uncover their real need
3) Engage the third side: get perspective from others who are part of the larger context in which the conflict is happening:
