This week EB Critical, Shrewsbury Drapers, PCAS and Shropshire Council confirmed their commitment to the Armed Forces community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant. We were joined by Wg Cdr Paddy Durnin from RAF Shawbury who signed on behalf of defence @ShropsCouncil @WMRFCA

Shrewsbury Town Council has partnered with Shrewsbury Dial-A-Ride to help residents reach the remembrance service. The charity will provide a free shuttle bus service for those who are elderly or have mobility challenges. @ShrewsburyTC orlo.uk/5Kr6r

More Organisations sign the Armed Forces Covenant. Shrewsbury PCN, a number of GP Practices and Prestfelde School have signed the Armed Forces Covenant at an event hosted by @RAF_Shawbury. Each one of them has made a firm commitment to support the Armed Forces Community.

The 5th of April was this years Military Match Day. Once again we were privileged to have the match ball delivered by helicopter. Big thank you to @ShrewsburyTown @FoundationSTFC @ShropCouncil @CO1IRISH @8RIFLES @RAFShawbury and other Military Units and service charities.

Seven members of the Market Drayton Royal British Legion recently visited Northern France and Belgium on a Battlefield Study of The Somme and Ypres campaigns, along with a group from The Royal Irish Association. Within the group was our Armed Forces Champion Cllr Ian Nellins.
