@ImBanton_ In 1947 Sikhs were promised that Punjab would be a fully autonomous state controlled by Sikhs within a federal India. These promises were broken and now India is a centrally controlled Hindutva country. Lesson learnt on our part. Never trust Brahmanvaad.

BREAKING | CSIS 2025 Public Report names India among the main perpetrators of foreign interference against Canada.
The report says India has cultivated covert relationships with Canadian politicians, journalists, & Indo-Canadian community members, while using surveillance and coercive tactics to suppress criticism.
CSIS also affirms that advocacy for Khalistan is lawful political activity in Canada.
"Historically, India has cultivated covert relationships with Canadian politicians, journalists, and members of the Indo-Canadian community, to exert its influence and advance its interests. This has included transnational repression (TNR) activities, such as surveillance and other coercive tactics meant to suppress criticism of the Government of India and create fear in the community. Given the presence in Canada of supporters of the Khalistan separatist movement, Canada must remain vigilant regarding potential TNR activities. India acts to counter perceived threats to its domestic stability, including Khalistan separatism. In Canada, advocacy for Khalistan separatism is lawful political activity," the CSIS Report states.

If ever the phrase 'island of strangers' felt viscerally real. High street wars & state officials (trading standards) terrorised and intimidated, forced to sell up and move out.

@OpIndia_com The Hindutva radicals hate Sikhi. The thought of Khalsa Raaj and the implementation of Guru Nanak’s philosophy repulses them. Little do they know that Guru Nanak is the Satguru of Kaljug.

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Diljit Dosanjh says he is from “Punjab,” not India.
This isn’t a slip, it’s a pattern.
In a space where separatist narratives already frame Punjab as distinct, read how such messaging risks unintended validation for Khalistani sentiments👇

This objection to returning the Kohinoor diamond misunderstands the purpose of such acts of restitution, as I explained in the @TribuneIndian in 2016

Audrey Truschke@AudreyTruschke
The British took the Koh-i-Noor diamond from a Sikh king of Punjab in Lahore... So, it's not clear *to whom* the British should return it. We all wish undoing colonialism's harms was straightforward, but it's not. And this is a good example. nbcnewyork.com/new-york-city/…

@PriyaSatia @TribuneIndian Your piece is an interesting thought experiment on the psychology of demanding its return, but you fail to grapple with the act of restitution since you don’t name a recipient. There is no return sans recipient.
In fact, you agree with my point in the end.

"Secular on paper, but violent in practice. Between the 1984 genocide and today’s reports of hired hits on Sikhs in Canada & the US, the Indian Govt’s record is clear. Alliances with extremist regimes only further expose their true agenda. #SikhGenocide #HumanRights"

It has now been over two weeks since Paige, Deyanna and Chris Ostroushko violently attacked me and all three are still free.
Paige is on camera punching and tackling me.
Deyanna admitted to assaulting me.
Chris is on camera slamming me to the ground.
Yet all three are still free. Painting themselves as the victims and gloating about how they haven’t been arrested yet.
