@dave1agar I loved Hap. I was his producer when he anchored Newsweek at Global News. During his time the Berlin Wall fell, Tianamen Square uprising was crushed and the first Guif war erupted. Every week was like executive journalism training. He was my mentor.. My friend.

My heart is broken. My very good friend ‘Hap’ Parnaby has passed away. His widow Lynda was by his side near their home. Hap was Tayler Parnaby. There’s another first name but he’d be pissed if I told you. His career in broadcasting is legend.

Just got that call you never want to get. My amazing Dad was just admitted into the hospital in Charlottetown. His doctor is only giving him a couple of days to live, so on our way to #PEI to say goodbye. He has fought AML so hard over these past 6 months after a sudden diagnosis that turned our lives around. He was so healthy, in his 70s and working out daily. We've had many good weeks over these past couple of chemo months that we thought he might have more time, but clearly cancer has other plans 😢.

@Baseball_Jenn It pains me to say this but: This team is done. Ownership appears to have given too much weight to analytics and not enough to the performances on the field. This squandered opportunity is the fault of management who are too quick to blame the team THEY put together.

I know where I stand on this, but I am curious where #BlueJays fans stand: How do you view this team? If they are in fact a playoff team, are they also a "can compete in the playoffs" team? And, if not, is a Wild Card appearance enough to make this a successful season?
