Playing fair set 2 decks post bans makes me feel like a recovering Heroin addict. My dopamine receptors are shot and nothing can compare to the power and agency of seeing every single card in your deck.

I don’t like bans, but we ride on. I am gonna miss the consistency of Called Shot. Silver lining, these bans at least make #RBUnleashed more interesting.

Won skirmish today with lock ezreal, on waitlist for bans now.
I feel its a bit sad how miracle draven has conditioned the meta to the point where decks become more point oriented and less structurally optimal (irelia with sneaky and ez with poros), we def need a shake on monday

@AliEldrazi Idk why, maybe because it's a lot of people's first TCG, but the crying for bans constantly is exhausting.
We are so early into the games life cycle and overall, the game is decently balanced currently.
Bans hurt the players and store confidence, especially when not needed.

Banning a card from a Tier 2 deck based on future speculation is a really bad precedent to set.
We haven’t even seen how Unleashed shakes out at all.
Aurora is currently a fair ramp strategy, and it fills an important role in the meta and is easly countered.

If they don't want to ban Aurora (understandable cuz it's an epic and like $90), catalyst and/or mobilize should go. Playing Aurora a turn faster may be quite abysmal to play against next format, unless we see some new reveals that make the deck irrelevant. Eldar Dragon is too good of a buff to the deck

Just so Riftbound players know. If you start banning cards now you will set the precedent forever. One of the things I hate in MTG right now is the community assumption and conversation is ALWAYS about banning the best deck regardless of need because of previous precedent.

People wanted Kaisa banned in Origins. After Spiritforged, the Kaisa deck is just fine.
Wait until at least 4 sets are out before talk of any kind of bans.

First summoners skirmish, playing Annie today.
Round 1 vs Yasuo: 🧸🧸 (Lost die roll)
Going second is ok when you can deckhand + gust for a huge tempo lead. Scrapheap+Zaun is too much draw, too hard for Yas to claw back.
Game 2, we both drew unlucky but early pressure wins.

@masoneclark Fully agree on accelerate, easily the best keyword in the game right now I think. Thanks for the insight!

@SnapMulldrifter I think accelerating is quite good, and I found the poro very mid. So while they both have different strengths, I have found being able to capture on a low rune count out of no where to be a nice mix up, and in some matchups scoring a point or 2 is all I really want.
