What’s even more beautiful is.. everyone has their own unique interpretation of the narration. A single paragraph describing a character’s bedroom might lead me to imagine slightly different curtains in my mind than my friend’s—even when we read the same paragraph, word for word

Reading fiction books means you need to visualize the narration inside your head based on the sentences written. It’s not something difficult since many writers are amazing at pouring a setting into words, but you’re sharpening your imagination as you read; and it’s beautiful

As one of marginalized community, what queer people have been fighting for is an inclusivity. Inclusivity is NOT an exclusivity. Inclusivity means they wanna be exist like a normal people do. Not being separated like they’re ‘exclusive,’ just because they’re ‘different.’

people twisting his words here calling him straight and say he dgaf about representation in queer love is so upsetting. how is saying “it’s just a story about two people” wrong? it’s not ignoring identity, it’s normalizing it. BL as a label is important for representation but it doesn’t mean the story has to be limited by it. queer romance should be treated normally like any romance films of straight people and can exist in any genre such as action, thriller, horror, anything. at the end of the day love is love so treating it like it always has to stay in a separate box kind of goes against that idea.
