@JJourdin @LucasGageX taking still photos allows for easier manipulation or "compositing" later, whereas a continuous, moving 4K video through a window would be much harder to fake convincingly with correct parallax and lighting.

@LucasGageX Why not film out the window so you can pan across the the earth and show its a perfect sphere, even with that footage, the trajectory of horizon doesn't have to continue off the camera and form a sphere, it could well form a disc, or worse, the camera lens may add distoration.
