There really is no such thing as “too late to start” when it comes to training and improving your health.

We would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of Chris Figgis and @CanterburyHC after Chris sadly passed away last weekend. As a mark of respect, we have invited all of our teams to wear green armbands this weekend in their matches. Rest in Peace, Chris.

Not a bad spot to take a 5-min break from virtual training calls/online programming/creating content. I’ll take it any day of the week.

People obsessed with living longer and they don’t even lift weights or do cardio regularly. Why on earth would you want to add years to then be weak, more susceptible to illnesses, and unable to do things yourself 🤔

You’re not fragile. You always put yourself at risk when you exert yourself, get under the bar, or run. Manage your risk, don’t avoid it.

Resistance training is arguably the most important interventional strategy for overall health and well-being, yet a large % of the population isn't aware of its vast benefits... pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36011634/

You don’t need to workout every day to change your body. You don’t need to train for a specific amount of time, either.

Bears repeating: I have seen no compelling evidence that supplementing with protein, EAAs, HMB or leucine is beneficial to muscular adaptations provided that adequate daily protein is consumed

If you’re short on time and want to do a full-body workout, try super-sets like this: A1. Leg press machine A2. Standing EZ bar bicep curl B1. Dumbbell walking lunge B2. Seated chest press machine No overlap in muscle fatigue, and hits multiple body parts in a shorter period.

Improving your form is a way of progression with your lift. It doesn’t always have to be adding weight, sets or reps.

Serena Williams announced her retirement from tennis this morning — and in true GOAT fashion, she used the news to make an important point about the sacrifices women must often make in their careers (and the double standard that still exists in sports): cnbc.com/2022/08/09/ser…

Poorly designed training programs work. Mostly, it’s because the people doing them train consistently and with extremely high effort.
