Just for it all to be disregarded in one panel. It also doesn’t make sense for him to not change at all after finding out Ai’s true feelings.

@JazzDunn2 Well the blue suit is basically an inverted Omni-Man suit representing Mark's mentality. Changing the gloves interrupts that. Once Mark goes back to the yellow suit it's slightly different because things will never be like they once were. The show uses the regular yellow suit
